LODGING POLICIES

The The Thistle Inn is an exclusive property where every guest reservation is both important and special to us.

 

If your travel plans change and you must cancel your reservation, please call us at least 10 (ten) days prior to your arrival date to cancel your reservation.

A 50% deposit will be taken a upon booking. 

In the unlikely event that you must cancel with less than ten (10) days notice, shorten your stay or check out early, please understand that we must ask you to take responsibility for your entire reservation.

 

If we can rebook your room(s), a full or partial refund will be made.

**A cancellation surcharge of $20 will be charged for all cancellations. This will be refunded if you rebook within 6 months of arrival date.

Rates/policies are subject to change and vary during high impact periods and special requests.  

 

A 30 day cancellation notice is required on whole house bookings and for some holidays and special events.

 

Check-in: 3:00 PM - 9:00 PM.

 

If arriving outside of check-in times, please call to make arrangements.

Please be aware onsite parking is available, but limited, especially during peak dinner hours. 5pm-8pm

 

Check-out: 11:00 AM.

Absolutely No Smoking inside; however designated outdoor smoking areas are available.

 

No Pets. Please call for help in making arrangements to board your pet.

Smoking in room or unauthorized pets will result in a $250 cleaning fee

 

We welcome young guests 10 years of age and over (with the exception of our Timberwind Room where 2 children of any age can be accommodated).

 

GIFT CERTIFICATE POLICIES

Gift certificates must be presented at check-in along with a valid driver's license. Gift certificates are transferable. Any remaining amount on gift certificates can be used at a later day up to the expiration date. Gift certificates cannot be redeemed for cash.
 

Things to know about your stay with us...

 

The Inn at The Thistle is a very small inn and does not have space for a front desk.

 

When checking in, please leave your luggage in your car and enter through the main door for the restaurant and the host will give you your keys and check-in information and lead you to the inn entrance.

Check-in is at 3pm

Unfortunately our parking is very limited we only have 8 parking spaces in front of our building , 6 guest rooms, and a very busy 170 seat restaurant attached. 

 

 If you are checking-in or returning to the inn during peak dinner hours there may not be a spot available in our front lot.  However, please pull behind the other vehicles in the lot while you unload or check-in then move your vehicle to one of our 6 designated inn guest parking spaces across the street behind the Good 'N' You service station. 

 

On-street parking in our area is not monitored after 3pm and before 11am. 

 

We no longer serve breakfast in our inn but each room is stocked with complimentary snacks & bottled water.
