Welcome! We are Jennifer, Max and baby Jackson Ross. We moved from Nantucket in May of 2006 to start a new chapter in our lives as innkeepers of The Thistle Inn. Max's focus is on the restaurant and Jen manages the Inn. Max comes to Boothbay Harbor with over 15 years in the restaurant and wine industries including positions at Radius in Boston and the Wauwinet on Nantucket. He also has restaurant management experience at the Eiffel Tower in Las Vegas. Jen combines her experience running IT projects with her training in the creative arts.
Our excellent staff includes a chef, sous-chef, kitchen staff, and wait-staff. Chloe, our yellow lab, can be seen from time to time enjoying life in Boothbay Harbor.
